I was at a husky dealer last week and I noticed that they had 5 brand new 346's. on was an xpg, one was an E Tech and the non e techs. I can get any o them for 425 on sale with tax it would be $460 OTD. What do you guys think? Should I go for it or what?

Absolutely go for it. Can the heated handles be turned off an on?

I'd buy everyone of them, then sell one to me.

I was close but no cigar their all gone now... Thanks Mark you'll love the 346

But...when all else fails you can buy a 550xp. Great replacement for the 346xp. And I actually believe they are stronger. Mine travels with me whenever I head out to cut wood. Even if in 50+ inch Goonies and using 90cc saws the 550xp tags along. Just in case there are some pecker poles that need cut. Too many times left it behind and kicked myself all day.

Just plain great saws.

Did someone say NOS 346XP? Here's my entry. A 10 year old NOS OE 346XP.

Buy at least the xpg, but avoid the E tech.
