Hi!

I am looking for a primer pump diaphragm for a Pioneer 1120. I know they are hard to come by, but maybe someone can help me out.

Thank you.

Just finished going over a Farmsaw that my dad picked up for me out of town. Fairly clean. PO ran it without a tensioner and spike though. Had to try and rescue the bar as a result. Ended up just jig sawing and grinding out a spike from some flat stock. Not perfect. But, that is where my skill set/tools ends with fabrication.

I have to say, they are one of my favorite colour/looking series of saws.

Is there another starter cover that fits the Farmsaw? In the past series? I have a Farmsaw and while it works the thing makes me nervous as a dog crapping tacks from reading about them breaking. The saw really surprised me in performance.

There's little reason to worry. I bought my FarmSaw new in 1979 or 1980. The starter performed flawlessly until I stupidly got the pull rope caught in brush while cutting. Had I stopped my cut or cleared the brush before cutting I'd still have my original starter. She still works; fired her up yesterday... I'd forgotten how sweet she sounds when she runs.

I don't have a huge amount of run time on my 66 cc Pioneers (Farmsaws and P-41), but they handle and pull very well.

The bigger displacement in the series clearly are stronger and have their place. But it seems to me at least, the 4-cube machines hit the sweet spot when it comes to medium-sized and up firewood. Fine cutters they are.

i have a p61 western and id tag says p61gfw does anybody now what the g stands for i now the f is full wrap and w is western

Not much help, but this is all I've got from a service manual covering the P-series. Not sure about the g. Maybe looking like an S? They list four basic set-ups.

MODEL P61 SERIES SPECIFICATIONS : P61F P61SF P61H P61SH : Full wrap, Safety brake Full wrap, Half wrap, Safety brake Half wrap.

g = grunt (lots of it)??
