038 or 038 magnum

got a ? i just got a parts saw in today and was wondering how i could tell it from a 038. the guy said it was a magnum but has no emblems on it. i know the mag has a bigger bore, so how can i tell exactly.

I would pull the jug if its not already off. Then check the bore. A magnum jug will check 52mm. Rick!
