Anyone know if a metal flywheel from a 066 (90's) will match up if it is to replace a new MS660 flywheel - which was damaged?

Been looking at my parts pile - might be building another play saw.

from what I have read...No. The metal (aluminum) flywheels were used on the older 066 mags and had a problem with the cranks snapping. They beefed up the crank and put the newer poly flywheel on it. they will not interchange. one or the other. If you had a poly (plastic) you need to find another poly one.

yeah, wasn't sure. I hate reading. No biggy - the saw with the poly flywheel was a swap for a box of beer. A guy I was working with smashed it. I got a ton of spare parts off of it. It was only 3 months old.
