i have my grandfathers old 1074 pioneer and want to run it only problem not sure what mix ratio. i have run my old macs only 50:1 . i do not want to ruin this old classic. i have run this for a few minutes on 50:1 to make sure it would still run after being in storage for a year. this old old girl runs like a scalded cat plenty of power carb nedds tweaked bu that may be fuel mix.any one have a link to a owners manual or a copy. thanks fellow loggers. any other info would be a help.:chainsaw:

50:1 is fine with modern oils, with gear oil stick to 17:1

1980 Intertec chainsaw manual:
Regular or lead free gasolines are recommended. Premium or high octane gasolines are not required. Normal ratio is 24:1 however, for break-in period of saw, 16:1 mix should be used for the first 2 gallons of fuel. Initial carb (H & L )settings are 1 1/4 turns open for the Tillotson HU or the Walbro WA.
