2001 55 air injection closed port with decompression valve .
If it has a decompression valve, then most likely, yes. Look for a series of ++++ on the cylinder base for further evidence.2001 55 air injection closed port with decompression valve .

I don't really see a question here - but the closed port 45 mm/51cc 55 EPA saws (not Rancher) were sold in the US about 1998 - 2001.
This looks like one of those saws, made 2001 week 12.

Good question, and I don't know the answer regarding that generation of 55 EPA (the 45mm CP generation). The US was the market they were made for though. Were EPA saws sold only in US?

Just trying to figure out what it was because I was reading other forums that said CP was only made to 2000.I don't really see a question here - but the closed port 45 mm/51cc 55 EPA saws (not Rancher) were sold in the US about 1998 - 2001.

EPA is the agency that create and enforce emission rules in the US, and at the time in question here those rules were stricter than similar ones on other markets. That has evened out by now though, at least vs. the EU.
Around the world, there are many nations that still have no such rules though (or very lax ones in comparison).[/QUOTE
