how do ya like the low tops??

Low tops are just fine. Flow plenty enough for a 372, I like the looks of the high top better though, I have a high top 372, and also building another 372 right now that'll be high top. That pic is a BB 365, I also have a low top 371.

Here is my 371 that has been massaged a little.

The oil adjuster is pretty apparent in that (very good) picture. It isn't very conveniently placed on those saws.......
yea seems that pullin the clutch to make an adj is a pain, but it makes sure the drum bearing gets greased, last owner never greased it was rusted solid, but boy that oiler design really slings it, reset it to 3 and running a 24" hardnose and no lack of oil!!!

So for embedding pics, so far the only way I can see it is. Write your message, upload your files, when your done uploading the pics, instead of clicking
"submit Reply" click "preview post", then a new page will come up with your uploaded files above the post window, now right click on that uploaded file, and "copy link location", now click on the insert image button and paste that link into the window, and when you paste into the window, make sure the http:// is highlighted that way it'll replace that, otherwise you'll end up with http://http:// if there is two there it wont work.

Hope this helps.

got an 09 w/limited coil, still under factory warranty, have an older 372 BB kit that may get installed someday, but seems they dont impress until they have been massaged and I haven't made that jump in the CAD progression yet..but:rockn:

It does not take long to start tinkering with some mods.... It will start with a simple muffler and then there will be no stopping you....

When you are posting pictures from Photobucket you can copy/paste the "direct link" into the "insert image" screen. You will not have to go through the whole process of "preview post".

Yes I know, but I like to keep things on this site, that way the info is never lost, I've seen many photobucket links that are no longer good, if you upload here, its here for good.

Nice woodpile! Looks like a really nice area you live in as well.

I haven't mastered it yet with this new site. The older one was easier.

All I did with yours was right click on your pic link and select "copy link location" and then in the new post window, click on the insert image button, its the button in between the envelope and film strip, then a windown pops up then right click in that window and paste the link.

I did a big tutorial with the old site, but now that means JACK with this new site.

Let me know if that doesn't help you. Would be easier to actually talk you through it.

Let me know when you do it can we do a threeway call????

It is mostly on the US market (and maybe the Oz one) that the high tops dominate, it is just an option elsewhere. Normally it isn't needed, and just add weight and bulk. The specs are for the low-top versions, even in the US...:D
