I have a 1999 371XP and had to change the fuel line last year. My dealer gave me a tygon line and all was well until today when it leaked mix all over the back of the truck. I pulled the line and it looked like it shrunk in diameter by 1/3. My dealer said it would shrink but that much in only 1 year seems excessive. What type of fuel line should I use this time?

Another question: Should I replace the impulse line now? It seems fine but just looking for suggestions on how long a impulse line should last.

Thanks

I buy the OEM fuel lines.

I keep spares in my tool box.the stuff you metion DOES shrink too much.

I also recommend dumping the gas out of the saw when you are done cutting if you don't use it every day..
