Is there any possibility you got some bad fuel??? Also, replace the fuel filter just for giggles. Always do the simple things first. Good luck with it Captn.

Already done, yep. This can't be bad fuel, i used the same gas for the rest of the day in my 346 without issue.

Apparently it's a carb issue. I tried to put a carb from a new 560 on my saw, but the wire linkage from the coil to the control lever is different (coil->carb->lever on the 562 and coil->lever on the 560).

So i put my carb on the 560, and it was the same issue, saw won't idle and revs weirdly.

Simplicity has far more value than computer control. Most people don't see that as being true, YET, but the day will come
Nothing could be simpler than AutoTune. Pull cord, cut wood. No need for adjustments ever.

The reported troubles with these saws is carb related, not control related.

My old carb is on the way to Tennessee, now. Thank you for the help Terry. Is there a noticeable difference between these carbs?
