Did you open it to check it out?
No, I want to sleep tonight without being pissed off. I will check in the morning while they are open. I snuck a peak in the crack in the top of the box and it looks in good shape. not flopping around like the first one that came. I can see the L, H and T holes and markings on the top cover though

This is a lot of worry and stress about nothing. Saws do not have model years; they have production dates. (There have been no changes to the 576 since 2015 BTW.) They will do a build on a particular model and then when it sells down, they will build more. Faster moving saws will have production dates that are more recent. Saws like the 576 will tend to have older dates. In fact the 576's I just received back in mid October were built in the 50th week of 2015. Dealers have no control over the dates of saws we receive. Got to relax fella's. :)
