This may wind up in another forum...I was watching the Country channel
and they had a guy that built a race saw using a 1963 buick small block V-8 that he named the "Predator." Anyone ever heard of this?
Hell, nevermind. I know it is.
Is that who you're dating?
the saw thats running the "63 buick v8, would that be the 215 cube alloy v8????
serg
Might be a stupid question Gary, but how do you start that thing...like an indy car?
It's not a stupid question... The stock Buick starter is mounted to the engie block, and it also has a battery mounted on the frame as well. Just turn the kill switch on, pump the throttle a few times, hit the start button... and WHOOM!!! It roars to life!
Gary
ah, i see, just figured that you would try to save a few lbs and ditch the starter
