If an air compressor is not in your tool bag, how do you clean-out your saw?

In the field, away from the compressor, I wire brush the air filter cloth band, wipe off the bar (engine end), use a Stens bar groove tool, spray WD40 in the bar tip, wipe off the bar oil and fuel caps, slide a scabbard over the bar/chain and call it done. At home I do these steps then blow things off including the engine fins.

Brake clean if i have to. I dont like it on my air filters repeatedly. I've used PB in a pinch. My old mechanic used a parts washer all the time.

Small putty knife for the bar. Twigs or firm grass to get at the oiler hole.

Toothbrush or bristled brush for the case.

Not complex.

Oh, and a gas bath for the air filter if it's really bad.
