Its Juneuary whos still burning? it made it all the way to the mid 50's today running in the low 40's at night finally broke down refilled the deck wood stack and started a fire on another gray dark wet day. Been outside most of the day but tired of the heat kicken on. What it looks like today still wouldnt want to live any where else.

I'll trade ya kerf, it was 85 and humid today. I frickin hate summertime in the Midwest, hot and humid, anything over 70 and I'm miserable.

Wow.............it's beautiful where you are buddy.

This is the middle of June and I have only had two days when the fire was out. I quit moving wood into the porch at least 5 times and restocked it again today

I thought it was going to be an easy year for wood consumption. Hardly any winter at all. It's made up for it with a total lack of spring.

All you Oregonians and Washingtonians are sharing your wet cool weather. . . Let me know when you want it back?

Lit a fire this mourning to take the chill off . . . Supposed to be back in the 70's in a week or so.

Had a fire a week ago tonight. Had to be the latest I've ever burned. Conditions were two nights down to 41 and 42, and a damp day with no sun, so a quick fire was just the ticket.

Only burning this week will be out in the sun; supposed to go into the upper 80's the next few days.

Had a fire a week ago today. Only got into the early to mid 50s. Worked out good. Got a mess of cooking and baking done in advance so we could let the gas stove sit idle for a spell.

Just swept out the wood cribs in the barn, too. Amongst the wood dust etc there were some chunks too big for an area I'm dumping for fill. So they got burnt.

Last year, it was like June 29 or 30 when we had the last fire.

Had a fire inside a couple days ago. Gloomy rainy weather never got to 60F. House got cold and damp.

Otherwise I'm still burning in my outside stove heating water every day. Cuts my propane useage in half!

still burning here, it is driving me nuts, have NEVER in my 32 years in Washington seen anyone burn in June, and the gray dreary doldrums are getting to be a bit much...

Had a fire to take the chill off last night but it's ok tonight and supposed to be warmer for the weekend. Great weather to grow spinach and lettuce!
