Thanks, guys, I appreciate all the feedback. I think I'll try it with a worm gear circular saw and an old blade first, and if that doesn't work, buy a diamond grit sawzall blade. I wish I knew someone with a concrete saw! I'm hoping I can get enough $ in aluminum scrap out of the motor to make it worth my headache.

What is wrong with you have you never seen a precipitating saw. They work great. Possibly a sawzall was the intention.
The out drive and aluminum from the head(s) will not get you enough to pay for the blades you will go through. The fire on the other hand will raise some eyebrows with all the smoke or in other words it must be dismantled to be rid of it. Thanks
