i have replace oil feed tube that broke ,replace oil pump and seal,but i have lurn so much about 2 stroke and saw
it gave me fun and made lots of slabs
but after 32 canadian gallon of gas its giving me a big trouble
but as soon its repaire am going to order one more

I have a ported MS290 with a Farmertec top end and Stihl bearings and seals out in the world thats impressing people every day. Was alot of monkeying around to make it work though. And it broke in slow as molasses.

That being said, Chinese knockoffs are a huge problem. I'd rather fix something old with a part or just buy OEM than continue to support them anymore.

Modern OEM aren't what they used to be either.
But the electronics help the newbies some.
