Got a chance to break in my converted 7900. This thing cut great. loads of power, pullin' 24" full comp burried in oak like it was nothing. Very happy with this saw.

Yeah. I like it a lot. My brother cuts with me most days I go out. He likes the 420, I use the 5100, and I usually fell big stuff with the 7900 and buck big stuff with it.
There's nothing like running a big saw in big wood. Yet I wouldn't be without a little saw for the limbing.

hey brad, what ever happened about that monster fallen oak you had your eye on a few months ago?
My friends still haven't been given permission to go at it. Someone else had first dibbs and they've been removing the top. I seriously doubt they'll tackle that trunk!

sorry i seem to have de-railed fl_airboaters thread, lets get back on track....
plenty of nice looking firewood ya got there fella, i love my 7900 (mines a blue one as well)
