I called my local shihl dealer and ordered a new bar, chain and sprocket for my ms290. They had them in stock and I put them on will call. I jump in the truck for what should have been a 15 min drive, that do to construction took me almost an hour. Got trapped on the freeway and forced to go down 3 exits only to see a wreck right in front of me and they blocked the road and wouldn't move. I finally made it to the store only to see 10 people standing in line at the parts counter. I asked someone if the had a will call counter so I could just pick up parts and go. But NOOOOO! they said I had to stand in line. Well shat! So I stand there for about 15/20 min only to hear the counter man talking about BBQ'ing and fishing and not getting the parts out. They were just jabbering on and on about nothing. Geez, if you want to socialise, go to a bar like everyone else. I finally left without my parts. I called the guy that took my order and jumped is butt.
Thats why I called ahead, to make sure the parts were in stock and so they could have them ready for me to pick up.
Two hours later I finally got home with zero parts and pissed off.
I told him I would never buy there again. And I guaranty you I wont. I have another place that has the parts thats the same distance but in the opposite direction.
Normally I'm pretty chill about stuff, but that just burns my butt.
It was Brookside Equipment by the way.
