Can anyone do Echo Mods?

Hello all, I have an older echo saw and it is great. Looking around at my local craigs list and ebay and stumbled on some good deals on bigger echo saws. Just wondering, if I was able to pick up a cs-670 or something like that, is there anyone here that could do some mods to it? Muffler Porting and such. Is it worth it for the echo saws? I feel I am not technical enough to do it myself and would hate to ruin a saw that I got a good deal on. Thanks.

Yeah newer Echo exhausts are very restrictive, they pick up alot of power just from muff mod.
