I agree with the Red Wings. I think they feel the most comfortable. I wear a 10" Carolina Boot with lug soles. I'm saving up for 10" Red Wing. $238 a pair. Anyone know where you might find them cheeper?? I'll keep those pointers in mind tomarrow. When limb walking. Got an Oak to do ao it shouldn't be too bad. (Red Oak)

Yup, Sonny thought the same as I did about RedWings. I had one pair about 6-7 years ago. Paid a large pile of money for them, and they wore out in 8 months. Well, the $25 hiking boots from WallyWorld last me that long, and are more comfortable! But you need to buy at least one pair of RedWings in your life, Froggy. Might as well get it out of your system.
BTW, Big, heavy, lugged sole boots are not the easiest to limbwalk in.

I had a pair of Husqvarna arbor boots ordered from Sherrill but I found out today they gave them away to someone else and no longer have my size so I`m buying a pair a flat soled leather boots from a local store.
We'll see how they preform.
They have a steel toe and shank.
