I was thinking the other day about the dust covered 346, after buying the 211, that 346 sits alot. Its not a bad saw though, as you mentioned should be great for carving.

From what some say they are ok. Steve Backus uses a 3450 in his small bear carving video, but does most of the detail work with it, and a Husky, and does a couple things with a Stihl 021. He raves about how the 3450 is one of the greatest chainsaws every produced...he uses a small 12" carving bar with a dime tip.

The thing to remember is that it still costs quite a bit to convert a saw over to 1/4" pitch, if they aren't. Most figure they might as well spend a bit more on the saw, given the cost of the bar/chain/sprockets/etc...

Yours is not running 1/4" pitch, is it?

which reminds me 67 mustang bought some parts off me at the gtg and
2000ssm6 he bought a part from me also that oregon lightweight bar so that reminds me i have to go add some pts in there accts cause they are registered also on my store

i dont know how much the shipping will be but these chains are heavy for 3 of them

i am thinking of adding some nice things for people to purchase using the reward points they get from ordering from me

what i will have is a catalog that will be strickly reward pts purchases only

stuff like chain loops and chainsaw safety equipment i may even have a pair of chaps in that reward pts section but i guarantee the points to purchase the items will be set correct

even when people purchase gift certificates from me they get the dollar amount 1 point per dollar spent

so say someone got a 100.00 gift certificate to give to a family member or friend well that person who got the gift certificate if they only knew they would get 100 reward pts just for getting that gift certificate

besides my new store will be having some added nice features to it that this current one dont have

i dont know if you ever heard of a help desk on a website before ?

but i will have a help desk support system ticket system on the store
to where if people have a mechanical question or dont know the part #s for there items etc. they can open up a support ticket and i will respond to there so called need

but that is further down the line when i get restarted i deleted some catalogs today the ridgid tools and ryobi tools since gardner froze my acct so i have to hang that out the window

i will be removing 5 more of them catalogs the honda yanmar generac gravely and gilson ones will be removed and others will take there spot

such as gates belts and N2 ATV parts and jungle jims supplies and maybe some other fancy items

i may just go the llc route i want to go a route to where i can have employees later on

Thanks much, got here and I got it installed, but for some reason the timing seems off and the engine was running backwards...:-/

for some reason, I think you may have to reverse the wires.

Yeah, I was trying that, but I sheared the key on the crankshaft, and wasn't sure if that was related or not. My 041 has some play in it, and I've heard of people shearing the keys off on the older saws. Not sure if that is related or not.

Are you talking about swapping the +/- legs on the Nova? If so, I should try that again after I get a key tomorrow. I went up and got one at Ace hardware, but it's not metric and too small. I could almost make my own, if I had to...I saw it's 2mm x 3.7mm.

Thanks Parris, but I got 2 of them today. They had them at one of the local stores I deal with, and they even had the IPL for it in a book and all.

I put it back together, it almost fired, but wouldn't stay running, so I think it's ok. I tried to rotate the base which the coil attaches to all the way over of what I thought would be to knock the advance down (clockwise, opposite the direction the flywheel would spin when it's running). That may be preventing it from starting, I'm gonna try putting it back in the middle and see if it starts.

ray parrish got them poulan parts so if anyone needs a ny on that list see him about it at least ray gave me 150.00

im kind of hurt only 8-9 on this site that ever ordered from me waste of time being on this site if im going to be ignored in posts and threads when i give a reply mcculloch thread for example

maybe its that no one has a caring heart on there shoulders towards hurting people

kyle at edgeandengine is about the only person on here that has ever ordered over 300.00 from me in obsolete parts

and i am thinking strongly of just giving him that gift certificate i posted about on my forum which 18 people only have visited

and them 18 probily was vistors and bots im almost 400 lbs did weigh 318 at one time but i told myself whats the use to even loose weight no one seems to care ab out me anyhow except for Christ himself
to live as Christ and to die is gain which means i will be with him and won t have to worry about life down here
only thing that is keeping me going is my parents i dont have a wife or kids like most on this site does women dont want a 400 lb man in there life anyhow

so whats the use to even try to loose weight when no one even cares


if they did care they would do everything they can to help me out but do they ?

i offered echo parts to randy duncan he turned them down same thing to baileys they turned them down also

Calvin if all the people on this site bought every single part you had it would not help you dealing with your depression or with your weight. Turning to Christ in your case is a cop out from your real issues. Remember Calvin the good Lord helps those that help themselves. He would not agree with your way of thinking at the moment but he understands why you think the way you do. He will not give you more than you can bare but you need to get some help. Self pity is the worst way to deal with what your going through. You should get some professional help Calvin and get that depression under control. Do it for your family as well as yourself. You will see life in a whole new light if you would just take the first step. Do it Calvin, you can do it!!
