I've been toying with the idea of building a few bars from scrap.. I have plenty of scrap titanium material, and I have an interesting design concept which I don't think anyone has built anything like..

This would be a one off custom thing... I doubt anyone would pay what it would cost to machine one off bars from the ground up, but you never know.

It would be a very easy build provided you used an existing tip and just build the core and outer plates for the laminate.

1) how did you produce that finish? And what is the link to the other bar you did?
2) did you inlay the letters with a CNC mill? Or are they laser etched?
3) have you started experimenting with reduced weight cutouts?

That looks fantastic, I have always thought the Sugi bars looked BA on saws and this tops those by tenfold!

I can guarantee it will be on there longer than any paint or powder coat. Ever try to polish a scratch out of a bar?
