oh
looked at home depot at a ariens log splitter 27 ton & tsc at a huskee 22 & 28 ton.

the huskee with the curved rails looks to be better built than the ariens, ariens has a subaru engine & huskee has a b & s engine.

i know there is a price difference i have read comments on the huskee { speeco } but have found very little on the ariens.

anybody can tell me about the ariens ? how it compares overall to the huskee

trying to figure out which one to buy

thanks

Well my 34 ton wood splitter sometimes bogs down and barely splits the wood (with really hard to split pieces).

So I would say the higher the ton rating, the better.

Then so far as maintenance and getting parts goes, I would think a B & S engine would give you more places where you could buy or order parts.
