Yes. They went from a 10mm wrist pin to a 12mm wrist pin at SN X 29 583 701.

The 441 is only related to the 440 in displacement. It's a completely different saw.

and brad im just saying the older 044/046 saws are more sturdy than the new model. that is my opinion at the least. the only reason i say this is because iv watched a new 460 mag break apart without even taking a hit they seem to not stand up to the same abuse (and i mean abuse as in physical abuse not how the saw runs or preforms)

The porting may have changed, but that wouldn't affect the weight of the saw.

I have not made that change. The crankcase did change, but it was before the crankshaft change. The bearings are also the same. I would think you could.

There's not 5 lbs difference between a 036 and a 066 or a 361 and a 660.

The porting may have changed, but that wouldn't affect the weight of the saw.

im also going to put the BB P&C in it i think when i do that ill upgrade the crank too.

If you're going to put a BB kit in it and you have an old style 044 crank you will have to upgrade.

Nobody makes a BB for the 10mm piston pin saws, so if you want a BB you'll have to swap to the 12mm setup.

I thought this thread was about handles I just replaced the full wrap bar on my 390XPG with a half wrap. I'm selling the full wrap on eBay.

I think i've decided to be satisfied with the half wrap. It'll fall trees just fine and will stump them even better! Wanted to hear what everyone else thought.
