I've been wondering about the fact I pine after a 166 even though I already own a perfectly good CT, does it make sense?
Both Saws are 118cc, have a Cylinder Bore of 56mm, Piston Stroke of 48mm and make 8Hp DIN while weighing 12.3Kg (CT) and 12.4Kg (166).
My CT is the 3rd generation saw with Anti-Vibration and the OEM Dolmar/Bosch Electronic Ignition.
I know neither of the saws in the picture have chains on them and yes, I'm aware it would take a while to take down a tree in their current form!
My real questions are to those who have had the privilege to have run good examples of both saws.
1. Are they comparable to one another with regards to torque and chain speed in the cut?
2. Should I really be pining for a 166 when I more or less have one in old fashioned clothes?
