Looks like the 540 is more than 5 years older than the 115i (june 2001 vs. sept 2006).

from what i have gathered from a couple of dolmar dealers, the first 2 digits of the serial number does not have anything to do with the year.

im still waiting for pictures of the saws.

So would my old 115 P/C fit on a good 540 donor saw? Case is broke on my 115 but there is a decent 540 on feebay that might work

What al parts do you need? I got a 111 here which is the same. I used it for parts for my 540. The cylinder was scored on it.

Need too much to make it run but thanks for the offer.. Would need recoil, top plastics, filter, chain brake, and a couple other odds n ends.. Good internals, P/C, carb, and coil is about all that left in decent shape. Complete parts saw would be best then I could have a couple extra parts I see there is a 111 on there too.. Of course there is always the blue option as well. Ohh tank was fine and I think I can fix the top handle...
