Old Briggs engine is about to give up the ghost. Question I have is this, I have a Honda GC 160 engine laying around which runs @ 3600 RPM, would that be a bit fast for the old hydraulic pump?
There is no speed adjustment on it, pump mounts directly on the crankshaft. Model of the splitter is a Didier B26A.

Thank you both for your replies. Now I need to find a Nova Jaw Coupler Assembly to mate the pump to this motor.
