Figured since there has been some interest in fire photos I would post a few from fires I been to. The Booth fire before it joined with the Bear fire to become B&B complex. The initial attack on this was harry. Couple of school teachers were trapped in the Mt Jefferson wilderness during the first few hours of this emerging incident.

Heres one from the Log Springs fire on the Warm Springs reservation last year. The type 3 team I'm on took it for a 38 hour initial attack till the type 2 team came in. She was a howling when we got there. This was the angle I came in from.

Sorry, I just think there is a very natural beauty in fire.
