Hey Guys,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this post or not. I'm trying to figure out if I can transport firewood from my grandmother's land in Price County down to Fond du Lac or Dodge county. I've been looking at the DNR websites and I can't find a clear answer to this. Both counties are quarantined. I would not be driving in a non quarantined county to get it home. The wood up there is mostly birch. I wouldn't be stopping in DNR lands on the way home.

When i was a kid my father and I always took the trailer up and brought a load of wood home when we would go up for trail maintenance and for deer hunting. It kind of helped offset the cost of fuel for the trip.

Thanks,

TF

Looks like you'll have to avoid Taylor county, otherwise you should be OK. Going from Fond Du Lac to Dodge Co looks prohibited as well, but transporting through is not real clear. Might be safer just to go around.
