One of my 2100 tanks was leaking at the seam...put in another sound tank....forgot about the bottom O-ring for the manual oiler. Had gas in the oil and WTF?? Anyway, posted the question in AS and was reminded about that O-ring. Found one that matched my other parts oiler O-ring, from my stash. Didn't know these O-rings were hard to find/match??

I know this is an old thread, but for posterity-sake: I think the 2100's oil pump o-ring is the same as the 3120's. I have found a few references online where the IPL part numbers for the o-ring are the same for the 2100CD and 3120XP. Hopefully my local shop will have the o-ring in stock...

The 2100 o-rings that we're concerned with are those on the manual oiler body. When they leak, fuel seeps into the bar oil tank. The 3120XP doesn't have a manual oiler. I'm thinking that the o-ring you're thinking of is the one that goes on the auto oiler pump body. An important o-ring (that should be replaced whenever the oiler has been removed), but not what we're searching for here. If that's the same part as what's used on the 3120XP, that is good info to know.

Edit:

Yep. Just checked the IPL's. The large auto pump o-ring is the same between saws. Good info to have.............but not what we're looking for here.

Some possibly good news though:

Found an online source that supposedly has the MO o-rings in stock. I've had experience with ordering 'in stock' parts that turned out to be NLA however...

I managed to get a full set of orings for the manual oiler all 6? I think from Husqvarna online all but 5 were in stock the 6 took 3 months to get they all say Italy for county of orgin?? I bought a few sets to have I remember this thread It came up when I got my first 2100 and when I found them I snatched up 3 sets so I had them when I needed them, thanks for the heads up info. Even if its a really old thread

If they are regular round orings try matching up to green automotive air conditioning orings.they are oil and gas resistant.the old local auto parts used to get me out of some pickles with that oring kit.

Nobody wants to hear what you used to get your pickle stuck in.
