Making the purchase on Tuesday at Vermeer St. Louis. Hours verified less than 900, 2008 model year. Like most of guys here, I don’t really need it nor can I make much money with it, just wanted it. Very clean and nice machine Super excited!!!

Congrats! Those are nice machines. The guy that's been doing my stumps for years runs those. He's on his third one, I think. Definitely can handle some big stumps.

I haven't looked into stumpers in years. Is it still around 18k for a used machine with those hours?

A little higher now. This is a 2008 model for 21. Similar hours 2010 and newer over 25 easily. Not cheap, I jumped in this one because of the condition and known history.

well, today is the day to pick up the beast! It turned out to be an all day ordeal. 5 hours round trip drive, another 3 hours waiting in the conference room for the money transfer to complete, all worth it when finally unload the thing and put in the shop.

It’s from the owner of a highway construction company. They bought it from the Vermeer dealer here in St. Louis to do some stumps along the highway where their dozers can’t go. It turned out there they never really need it. After 3 years of sitting and 30 more hours they want to get rid of. Found out from Vermeer that is was first owned by Gamma tree service since new (2008). They traded in at 850 hours. Very well cared for, tight machine.
