HELP Quick! MS362 or Makita 6421 ?? Have to choose in 30 min :-\

crazy man. babies born this week. over a 100 now. Aug we are going back to Ohio to buy 10 more, 2 prairie dogs, 36 more cages, 1000lb of food, and a couple hundred pounds of blue cloud dust bath. happy wife, happy life. I wanted that 361 in the trading post something fierce, I mean I stared at that thread. Sad and relieved that it sold. Ive got my saw blinders on now, and happy that my wife is happy with her hobby.

wow. can't believe the 362 won this one. Ive owned 45 ported saws... plus several stock saws, the 362 was the only one I would not own another of. The Makita would absolutely wallop a 362, and you could put a 79cc topend on it later and have a saw with one of the highest, if not highest power to weight ratios.

I was truly on the fence...
Where were u guys earlier this evening?? Lol.. Plenty of time to (hopefully) try em all..

you did real well on the price based upon those pics. basically stole it. Some folks get hung up on the "make/brand", I always go by the "model". you may love the 362, some do, just wasn't for me. It's great to have options. Makitas and Dolmars are great options in my opinion. Never have worried about dealer support. I can get anything I need by picking up a phone or shooting a PM.

Can't argue with that! My chainsaw addiction is relative new.... I've heard and read a lot of great things about these saws.. And I obviously couldn't pass up on the deal.

My next toy will probly be Dolmar/Makita. I really just wanna try em all.. Lol

Hey sure lookalike you got a damn good deal on that saw..... Looks to have a decent pro bar also....probably be a good idea to take bar off and dress it just in case..... I ihave a ms362 that I bought as a "non-running" saw..... After rebuilding it, it has become the saw I use the most... It seems to be right at home with the 20" bar..... I can't comment on the Makita as I have never ran one....

Well, you didn't actually steal it, but I'd say chances are pretty good the guy you bought it from did if he sold that saw that cheap.

I'm hoping its not stolen.. Serial # hasn't been messed with. I remember seeing it for sale more than a month ago at 350... It's like nobody is buying saws anymore..
But u never know.

It's the "old" carb model, which owners were not very enthusiastic about, completely contrary to the MTronic versions.

I have the 441-C M-Tronic and looove it... But id b willing to bet theres a whole lot of members on here that would disagree with you...
