Help with wood burning heater installation

I got an estimate on a fire place insert and all the materials, liner,etc. for the whole job from a local chimney sweep Co. here in Alabama. They want to charge $2,148.00 labor two techs...one day work. I think a buddy of mine and I can do it but is this labor price outrageous? The material prices they gave looked fairly good compared to what I've seen online. Is it this hard to install the liner correctly? Thanks for any replies, FullCry
