Picked up this old jewel for free today. Was telling the shop owner about buying a pick up load of SXLs and XL-12s about 10 years ago and he asked me if I would like another. Of course, I took it. Hoping a Homelite fan can decipher the year for me.

Nice find especially for free! I have my Father's XL-12 with the same "stack" muffler. As you're no doubt aware that's one loud beast once she get's humming! Enjoy!
