How does ms 460 mag compare to 038 mag or 372xp or dcs6421?

I just saw a ms 460 pop up locally
For great price 250
Case n all
I'm wondering it compares to my other saws I'm guessing it's probably a waste of time to buy compared to what I already have.
How ever I put my 372xp away since it's nearly new and doesn't leak and no sense beating it up. So this saw looks as ruff as most well used saws. It's over in Flagstaff so it'll cost me 50 bucks in fuel to go get it. If it's even available still.
I hope it's not the guy that had the saw that was probably a 029 missing label and with a scored piston

From that one pic it is a 460. For that price for a runner, id get 2. Worst case, you could sell and almost double your money.
The 460 mag is same displacement, just a “special” carb and muffler. There is a decent chance someone just slapped a sicker on there.
The 038 mag is a great saw, I personally dont like where the chain tensioner is. That’s enough to steer me away. Again personal preference. It is a bigger displacement than an 038. 72cc I believe.
I dont know husky so i cant comment.

460 is 76 or 77cc I THINK. My son has one that's hes been using in the log woods for 6 or 7 years now and its a DANG GOOD saw! IMHO it and a 372xp non xtorq are dead even in cutting ability, the 460 is just a tad heavier.

Looks like it sold as soon as it was posted on Craigslist anyway mine is a xtorq. I don't know what the difference is between that and the old one. I don't use it either I prefer the Makita over that one and I use the 03 8 as a backup

Just sold a MS460 mag IMO a real nice saw, as to comparing it to a 372 I would say it had a little more bottom end to it but then it's hard to compare because none of my 372's are stock

Mine is.. an its a xtorque . Not really like a "wow" experience lol
