Husky L65 Coil

My husky L65(serial# 137244) only needs a coil to be good as new(according to my local Husky dealer). It is a shame for a machine this good to be down and out. Any suggestions on how to find a usable coil?

I'll have a look around. By that s/n your saw is 24 years old.

True! I bought it new. When I went to the dealer to get the saw(after the coil news) I felt like I was going to the funeral home to get my uncles ashes.

If you could get me the number of your old coil. I can see what I have here. I got a couplle of used ones that came in my goody boxes. I assume the saws died other then electrical problems and the coiols and such was kept.
