Or sale.....
Husqvarna 285CD Runs great.

I'd trade for a 550XP, 562XP, 346XP, MS261, MS361......

Or sale for 400.00 shipped with a 28" bar and square ground chain.

No, I think it's a great saw. I've just got too many saws.......

I figured it would sell quick to be honest.

They're great saws...........................they just live in the shadow of their 6ci brothers (1100CD, 2100CD, 298XP, 2101XP). Same size/weight..........and a bit less power. That hinders sales. They're still STRONG saws however.

Now a fellow could always pick this saw up (and enjoy it as-is for a while), and then 'upgrade' it to 6ci if they land an good 1100-2101 P/C sometime down the road. Then the saw'd basically be a 298XP (a 2100/2101 without the manual oiler).

I'd almost rather not have the manual oiler. They are prone to leak fuel into the oil tank, and can be tough to get stopped.

If a fellow's running a 32" or shorter bar on these saws then the MO isn't really needed. I like having the MO for the longer bars, and when doing long cuts in hard/dirty wood (keep your mind out of the gutter). Plus, I'm used to older saws that have MO's, and big saws without 'em just don't feel "right". The leaks can be frustrating, but they're usually solved with new o-rings.

We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false!
