I bought this husqvarna 77 a while back. Pretty good condition but dirty as heck. The air cleaner looked like a ball of saw dust. It always started easy, ran strong, good compresion, etc. But I only have maybe one hour of run time on it. I've used it so little I decided to sell it to someone who can appreciate it. I was giving it a thorough cleaning yesterday and look what I found.
Funny thing was it still pulled 144psi compression. So now I have to rebuild it before selling it.
Here is the cylinder after cleaning with acid and light wet sanding with 220 grit.
I've got one of these pistons ordered from Ebay.

Husqvarna 480 pistons are suppose to be the same. I will do a close comparison when it arrives. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
This took me completely by surprise. But thats life.
