Jonsered 621. 195 lbs. of compression. Runs decent. Pulled the bar/chain and noticed these marks on the sprocket. What bad thing has happened?
Who will be the first to get it right?

P.S. I am NOT talking about the wear marks from the chain!!

You should have bought a "Stihl???"

I would guess, you had crap between your bar and the power head causing the bar to be offset pulling the chain off into your sprocket.

My WAG (Wise Accurate Guess) is that the clip and washer came off and the chain was holding the whole thing on.

Looks like the sprocket is coming apart...

My guess is the circlip fell off causing the hub to float looks like rivet ware.

Nope. Yes, there is rivet wear.

Yes, but the sprocket is a SYMPTOM. You might not have even picked this problem up if it was a replaceable rim.
