That ah 47 engine was common in lots of saws from the late 50’s to early 60’s, Sears , Montgomery Wards, etc. all used that engine. Parts are still out there, and they’re easy to work on as long as the “White death “ hasn’t started to rot it away.
No white death on it. I looked under it for that. Compression feels right on it. I gave the guy $30 for it. I think with a little love it will run. He said it was his dads he thought and it was going to probably get scrapped.
Locally saws like this don’t go for much more than that. There more shelf conversations that anything it seems.
