I used to have a 1980 Kawasaki KDX 400. I bought it used. My younger brother is a big Maico fan and owned 4 or 5 at one time.

He'd come over from CA. to visit and bring one of his bikes with him. Even his 500 couldn't keep up with my 400 in a dirt road drag race. His bike had a 4 speed and mine had a 5.

Didn't matter the gear, I ran away from him easily.

My 1996 Honda CR250R and 2000 Yamaha WR400F.

I raced them years ago but the most fun that I had with them was riding with friends on the ORV trails in Michigan and the WR400 was especially suited for that by design with its large gas tank and softer suspension, but the Honda was fun as well on trails I just had to watch the fuel tank level really close. Haven't ridden them in a couple years need to change that. I still have some mini bikes that I grew up on and the kids still love to ride a 1978 Honda XL75, 1973 CT70H and a 1974 CT 70.

I love seeing all the motorcycle pictures, but for me seeing all the dirt bike pictures really brings back some memories.
