Picked up a Lombard Comango @ the flea market this morning.

Looks just like this one:

http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.n...b8fde16e354aba6788256c5a00107e74?OpenDocument

Looks fairly good. Has good compression & piston/cyl look good.

It did not have a bar, & the sprocket is shot.

I have never had one of these, or worked on one. Any info, help appreciated.

I am going to give it a good bath & throw a carb kit & fuel line on it & see how she does.

I couldnt pass it up for $15

Anyone know if a bar from my Homie XL-12 will fit ??

Mike,

I checked my Windsor book and it does not list bars for Lombard. The "off-brand" book shows different bars for the Lombard and the SXL-XL12 class saws. I do not have my Oregon book in front of me so I cannot check it. I would assume it would show that they do not interchange. The chains should interchange as they both take 70dl on a 20" bar. That is as long as the Lombard is .050 gauge.

Orginally named, Lombard Govenor Corp.
Made carbs, parts for Homlite, and other companies.
Name changed to, American Power Equipment.
Out of biz for many years.

B&C's easily obtainable:
Windsor is the, 'UXL' bar mount. Very common.
Oregon is the, #176 bar mount.

.050 guage was common.
