Lube for chain sprocket needle bearing

wheel/bewaring grease when apart, then let good bar oil do it's thing. Unless an older bar with greaseable tip, then grease every few tankfulls

Those guys are the best!

I like how they only recommend Stihl or Husqvarna mix oils. I guarantee you that someone could abide by every shred of the advice that is in their archive except that recommendation. Oil and mix ratio were born to be argued about.

I'm looking for lube recommendations for the needle bearing on a Stihl chain sprocket.

I use "Bosch Distributor Grease" , very sticky/thick and high temp, but any thing works .

Thanks for the replies. I put a rim sprocket on my 025, and decided it wouldn't hurt to lube the bearing. I have some Valvoline wheel bearing grease and put some of that on it.
