I've found this site the best resource for learning about chainsaws and their use, and have been lurking since before I bought a Husky 55 this winter, which has served me great as a saw around the home. So  thanks for all your great posts on things like chain filing etc. Arboristsite is my go to resource.

Since then I wanted to get to know saws inside too, and got my hands on some old McCullochs that had just the right busted parts complementing one another and added up to a whole Super 44. It runs and starts pretty damn well after a little work, but the bar is far gone and I'm looking for another.

I've done some research and the link here is something like the bar I'm looking for and it matches the bar I have, although it sure would be nice to find one with a sprocket.

In that thread it seems to say that some bars from other saws or bars for many other models will fit, although when I find them for purchase they are not scalloped and instead have a rectangular hole for the tightener and don't appear to have the oil feed channels at all. Just don't want to order the wrong part. The thread at least seemed to say anything that will fit a 700 and some other models are interchangeable with the 44, but this bar for a 700 looks like the wrong part, see for yourself:

Any help would be much appreciated. Oh, and have a picture too because why not
