This has to be the best site I've found on the computer yet! I knew almost nothing about hydrolics and log splitters but from reading other posts and the posts I did I've managed to take an old log splitter I purchased from some fellas yard that barely worked and made it into one that sofar has split everything that I can throw at it. I used several ideas from you guys and they all helped make it better. Thanks to All. Oh yeah my saws are all working better than they have for sometime just from the info I picked up here. KUDOS TO ALL

i agree with ya.

when i was building my splitter, it was hard to find any place on-line that told you how to do it...until i found this site. i asked questions and studied pictures of other's splitters and built mine incorporating many ideas from here.
