With the governor disabled, the H was set quite a bit too lean. I richened that up where it's now 400 RPMs under the spec of 11,000. But I can only get 6900 out of it with the governor enabled. Not a concern at all. I'm enjoying tinkering with it. It runs great.

Brad, I hooked a rubber band from the lever that closes the choke to somewhere on the saw and the tension was right so it reved great. Play around with different points of attachment and sizes of bands and you will come up with something, Best of all it is instantly put back to stock.

That is a good idea. I had never thought of that. That is one of those great anecdotal service ideas, kinda like settin the points on a big Mac saw using two layers of cigarette celophane as a feeler guage.

Mayday, mayday! We have a crisis, lol. I had the 090 out yesterday. Andyshine was making the first cut of the day with it. Right in the middle of the first cut, the saw lost spark. I disconnected the kill switch and replaced the plug and still no spark. Any ideas? I've yet to even look in the manual to see if this thing has points or electronics. I'm hoping points right now.

Kind of like a "WTF" moment. I know the feeling. It's like the time my SP125C sheared the flywheel key. Good luck with the repair.
