I have several chainsaws I u se to cut firewood to heat my house, with fuel oil backup (usually 100 gallons/year). Use 6-8 cords a year and have only bought 1 cord once in the past 20 years. My neighbor allows me to harvest wood from their property when I run low. Currently have 12 cords cut and stacked under cover with 2 more cords to split this fall.

Chainsaws: Husqvarna 35, 142e, 575xp, 288xp, Sthil 362MS

A young friend of my son had all his Sthil chainsaws stolen 2 years ago, so I gave him several zSthils and a couple of Husky's I had extras of. I believe they were 40-60 cm's

Welcome!

Quite the arsenal for some personal use firewood cutting, should be prepared for just about any wood that comes your way. I’d like to run a 288XP some day, I hear they’re pretty legendary.
