Very possible the cylinder will clean up. If you decide not to use it, I'd pay shipping to my door. That will give me
the chance to use it -- if it cleans up. If you're going to use the MS390 set up from China, you won't need it.

Yamabond is great, as is Hondabond and the others mentioned. RTV sealant is not gas resistant.

Ok folks i have the ms 290 put togather but I do not have a piston stop.. any suggestions how to torque the clutch without a bar and chain.

All I ever use I ever use is pull rope in the cylinder.

But make sure the piston is above the ports before feeding it into the spark plug hole.

I got it cranked but it runs rough. its a start.

I set it to the factory settings.

Those are defaults, the starting points. You will still have to fine tune from there.
