Scooter,
I'm glad you asked. I think someone asked me in a PM about Jock and I told them what was happening, but I don't I've given everyone the latest news. My brother is going to the Walton Rehab Center in Augusta, GA 3 times a week. Debbie, his wife, and his daughter are taking turns driving him there and working with him at home. Debbie is working part-time at a daycare facility, but only for a few hours each week..

Last week, the doctors determined that he needs surgery to remove a blockage in one of his neck arteries. That will be performed this coming Monday. It's a dangerous operation and Debbie is obviously pretty worried. I could tell that there is some despair setting in. But we will help turn that around by what we're doing here!

Please, everyone, continue to pray for Jock especially in light of the upcoming surgery on Monday.

Mine is in the mail.

My prayers for your brother....that he will recover as much as is possible (all according to God's will).

He is fortunate to have family like you.

Best wishes for you, your brother...and the families involved.

Flint.

Just sent check for 2 tix. Hope your brother is well.

Many thanks! I appreciate it!

Again, if you'rer thinking about entering the raffle for the MS660 and the John Deere CS62, the drawing will be held on September 26th.

You guys (and gals) are doing a great thing here and I'm proud to be associated with all of you.:clap:

If someone going to the southern Indiana GTG wins this, I can hand deliver it that morning. Buy up them tickets you GTG goers:clap:

BTW, FATGUY and Andyshine77 were over this evening. I had to paddle lock it down to keep FATGUY from taking it home with him, lol. He was already calling it "his" saw:cheers:

This community/site has lent several lending hands to me in the past guess this is my way of helping back. Just sent for 4 of them. Hope it helps.

September 20 Update

Hello everyone,
Thanks everyone for the nice words we received either through this thread or from PMs today. Thanks for the BTTs as well. It was the Lords day today, so no mail, but I did get one nice contribution from Boogieman142. So he's the Man of the Day. On the ticket list, I'll add:

Boogieman 4 tickets

Our total is now up to: $2280.54

Tomorrow, Jock is having surgery on a neck artery, a dangerous procedure to remove a blockage, so I told him that I would spread the word and ask all of your to join with our family and offer up a prayer on his behalf. If any of you are in the Augusta, GA area, he will be in Trinity Hospital. Stop by and say hi.

Another note everyone, I will be working in New Mexico this week (Farmington and Ship Rock area), so my son Jacob will be checking donations in the mail and e-mailing me with the names and amounts. I'll try to get on-line during the day, but my posts may be limited to just the updates at the end of the day. If you guys can keep this BTTed, I'd appreciate it! If any of you haven't had a chance to get in on the raffle, please consider doing so. Checks need to be in the mail by Tuesday to get here before the September 26 drawing.

And again, thank you all and God bless you!
