Old gas? What was in the saws and in the premix gas can was "old" fuel from Oct. 6 months, and all three saws started right up no problems. So much for gas going bad after a few weeks or months. The 261, 400c, and the 500i are ready for work. Most of the snow is melted at my home, but the mountain roads are still inexcessible due to snow. Not much longer and I should be cutting firewood. Yeah, Baby!!!

Benefit of living in Big Sky country, wish my fuel lasted that long. We got Flys here year round. Fuel here just doesn't last that longScreenshot_20230519-193031_Google.jpgScreenshot_20230519-193217_Google.jpg

Good Afternoon,

Down here in California, I use the cheapest gas at the pump for all my 2 Strokes and gas vehicles. Some times, I'll have certain equipment sitting for 6 months to a year without draining fuel.

Never had an issue with them starting and running.

On another note, when I pick up gas powered equipment and vehicles for cheap, they'll have sat for years with bad fuel and has never been a cause for a no start.

However, for equipment I know that I won't be using regularly or are apart of my collection, I'll run them bone dry.
