I've been wanting a Stihl MS 461 for a long time and I finally bit the bullet. I paid $965 With tax with a 20" bar and six pack of oil to double the warranty.

Thank you! I get list price on all stihl equipment where I work. I got my dad a MS 250 for $239. Now I just need to get me a 28" or 32" bar to go with it.Damn fine saw and you got it for a very good price.

Ported 046 w 25" light bar is my most used saw. Chain loops economical.

No on the dual port, gotta get that separate. Wrap comes standard with h.o. Oiler and west coast clutch cover

You are going to love it. IMO the saw is best fitted with a 24/25 inch bar and chain, but I suppose it depends on what you are cutting.

Anyone have a picture of this dual-port muffler for an MS-461?
I'm assuming it is an after-market muffler? I've been told by a couple of Stihl dealers that Stihl doesn't make dual-port mufflers.

I think they dropped the OEM cover for the 461/460/440 etc..but aftermarket is available.

You are going to like that 461 I run one that is 4 1/2 years old and it has been a zero problem saw. We have cut a lot of hard wood locust and hedge with it and mostly in the heat of the summer. You got a great price on that saw.
